“The perpetual motion of solar system consisting of  the planets rotating on their axis and revolving around the center of Sun is one of the most fascinating spectacles that may be put in first place among all natural designs that can be known through direct observation by rational mind, but its deep secrets and underlying mechanism  can only  be realized by intuitive mind that can be imitated and constructed by the right ingenuity and dexterity of  human beings. Doing so provides us an opportunity to understand the working of the mechanical realm as well as to have a direct experience of ‘ultimate reality.  By providing inexhaustible source of energy, perpetual motion directly links us to the “Absolute” and “Infinite’- the ultimate source of energy and everything.”

 – Deva Ramananda

If there is any Land in the world, it is the Great India only where so much on the ultimate nature of energy has been contemplated, meditated, realized and spoken.  In brief, the ultimate reality is one but called differently as Brihma, Shakti or Shunya which at phenomenal level represents itself as a three fold reality called Maya (Nature) responsible for the creation, conservation and dissolution of the world.  Perpetual motion is the creativity principle of “Maya” i.e. Nature.

We have delved  into Einstein’s theory of relativity, his “space-time" ramblings, and his false priesthood of physics, now we have to put forth a few ideas about true and majestic art of perpetual motion and also Vedanta that contains supreme science called as the Raj Vidaya, the kingly science, and find out how they shatter Einstein’s theory of relativity and his lullaby equation E= MC2: which supposedly dictates to govern transformation of matter/energy of everything existing in the universe. According to Deva Ramananda, Zero Energy or Zero-field (“Brahma”) is the only reality that governs everything in the universe whether transformation of matter and energy or their creation, conservation and dissolution- i.e. the threefold reality of manifest world. Since Einstein’s own pubescent efforts to understand the perpetual motion, ultimate nature of energy and ultimate reality are completely arid and empty of any cognitive value, the criticism and exposition is mainly based on Deva Ramananda’s work in the field of perpetual motion and Vedanta. As shall be described in details later, relativity theory is not a theory, coherent with sound tenets, but offers ramblings of physical as well as metaphysical nature created by a mathematically skilled person to dodge classical course of science and to provide it semblance of modern physics. A physics is a physics is a physics. Physics has to remain forever physics in its all originality as its fundamental role is to describe a physical reality, the historian’s tags classical and modern has no real meaning in a deep sense.

What we mean by science and philosophy is a challenging question. If we mean by them simply the quest for the truth and reality, then, excuse me, the theory of Relativity does not correspond to any reality, physical as well as metaphysical because Theory of relativity is a subjective hypothesis, which contradicts many facts. Therefore, we cannot hope for anything significant by attending to it that may lead us to  understanding of our real world around us. The numerous paradoxes in the Special theory of relativity  are untenable, because the true speed of light is variable. Clock paradox and time dilation are   absurd . Some hypothetical experiments, proposed by popularizers of Special theory of Relativity for explanation of "dilation of time" notion and "simultaneity of time", introduced into  Special theory of Relativity by Einstein have no reality. It is proved that generally accepted explanation of reasons of aberration of stars does not correspond to reality.

A question about finiteness or infiniteness of the energy and Universe has a great importance in cosmology. Theory of relativity does not contain any true scientific “laws" like perpetual motion in modern sense of the word directly useful to man to directly ascertain 'infinite' nature of energy, no corpus of cognitively worthy data or observations follows from the application of theory of relativity, moreover, unlike perpetual motion, there are no detailed applications and implications, just a few murky hints from the theory of relativity.

On the contrary, the perpetual motion has tremendous theoretical and practical value; working with it provides experience which directly links us to the “infinite” and “absolute source” of energy, the experience is intense and uplifting. If you could follow the principle of perpetual motion in the construction of your machinery as well as in your life, you will notice that your life will get transformed in a very positive way as a result of the immediate benefits in the form of free energy, and the assimilation of the knowledge that follows from the in-depth investigations of perpetual motion - from both mechanical and spiritual points of view.  Those who confide in law of conservation of energy because they consider perpetual motion as something impossible or chimera, needlessly, reject the perpetual motion throw the baby out with the water, they are cheating themselves. Through ground breaking works of Orffyreus, we have known for a long time that perpetual motion works miracles, if it is built right. I have great respect for Orffyreus who made this possible. We must not forget over his success that our goal is not only the building of gravity wheel to eliminate energy crisis; but it is also the travel through space, and the exploration of the unknown, out there to have a better understanding of  physical as well as spiritual realm.  Deva Ramananda who has rediscovered lost art and science of perpetual motion has shown that on account of its profundity, perpetual motion may be the most correct philosophy, science and technology and even religion of the 21th century that can bring prosperity, peace and harmony in the world. To understand spiritual aspect of perpetual motion, we are required to know Vedanta, and to understand its mechanical aspect we are required to know actual working mechanism of perpetual motion same like invented by Orffyreus. Both aspects of perpetual motion are complimentary to each other as both of them lead us to have vivid exhilarating experience of inexhaustible source of energy.  In this website, perpetual motion invented by Councilor Orffyreus is examined in juxtaposition with the nondualistic Advaita Vedanta philosophy of India by raising the most crucial question: where does energy come from while the Orffyreus’ wheel performs the work?  The perpetual motion is the cultural heritage of India. The concept of the universe as a perpetual motion wheel is very basic to the Indian Vedic tradition of cosmology, astronomy, philosophy and metaphysics.  The perpetual motion is studied through the texts of, firstly, Rg Veda, and, secondly, Indian astronomers of Siddanta period who were the first to propose design of perpetual motion wheel driven by weight of mercury. The characteristic features of Advaita doctrine are gathered from Upanishadic texts and the writings of Sankara. This comparative treatment demonstrates that ultimate energy created  from ‘no-thing’ by perpetual motion as demonstrated by Orffyreus’ wheel is practically identical to the inexhaustible source of energy and everything called “Brahma” which lies at the heart of Advaita doctrine. So close is this identity affirmed in an experimental manner that the two ontologies, the perpetual motion and the Vedanta, can for all practical purposes compliment one another and help to provide in depth understanding of each other. We have convincing historical evidence to show that in India the one ontology exerted a direct influence upon the other, the ineluctable conclusion is that “Brahma” is as real as energy and perpetual motion, but difficult to arrive, attain and obtain, however, those who are initiated into perpetual motion, they in whom God's glory of the universe has made a home, they who are endowed with knowledge of the energy and the intuition of inexhaustible source of energy called “Brahma”, they who strive steadfastly to get them eventually succeed. It hardly needs to be mentioned that the “Brahma” the immortal essence and true source of everything and creature was attained by Vedic sages in ancient India, on the other hand, perpetual motion which serves as inexhaustible source of energy was discovered by Siddhanta astronomers who were fascinated with Vedic wisdom based on a holistic approach and principle of harmony and synergy. After the basic idea of perpetual motion went to Europe, in the process of diffusion of knowledge, its spiritual counter part either did not arrive there or was lost in a materialistic culture.  In Europe, only the materialistic aspects of perpetual motion fascinated a large number of inventors there to invent a perpetual motion machine using diverse forces of nature, great was the struggle and innumerable designs were proposed, and constructed, eventually,  it was obtained by some outstanding inventors who were determined and chose to devote their life time in the search of perpetual motion. Orffyreus, a true adventurer of the perpetual motion is probably the greatest and most disturbing, perhaps the only magical inventor of perpetual motion in eighteenth century in the Western world. Orffyreus understood the allure of the occult and he overcame its temptations through great personal effort by channelizing his energies into the search of perpetual motion. In addition, the prolonged solitude he experienced in nature strongly heightened his inner mystic propensities. A frequenter of Rabbi Circles, he had already cultivated and trained his psychic powers before he had an invigorating dream that helped him to invent perpetual motion. The larger world has yet to do him justice and recognize that he was a genius. It is unfortunate that the majority of scientists still consider him as a trickster. Notwithstanding scientists’ false judgment, I must also regret the faults in his character that led to create his false perception. We find in his life the lack of fostering amicable relationships, in his writings we find exaggerations in making complaints, abusing his enemies; we find in his works his lack of skill in developing a theoretical framework of perpetual motion. However, we cannot blame Orffyreus for his lack of erudite and sophistication. Orffyreus is a type of individual for whom a lively interest in scholarship remained secondary to a perpetual motion quest involving his whole ‘being’. His case seems particularly interesting to us due to his life long and profound stay at the perpetual motion.

By reformulating Vedic perpetual motion, Deva Ramananda sought to reconcile tradition and modernity in a creative synthesis. He has a great gift with his pen and an aptitude for mysticism and philosophy.  But Deva Ramananda 's teaching is a creative reformulation of Neo-Vedanta[i] in his own modern language, in which one also discerns, to some degree, the influences of Taoism, Mahayana Buddhism, Christian esotericism, and Theosophy. On the whole, Deva Ramananda’s belief in Zero Energy as the ultimate reality has become an intermediate position between science and religion. He saw no fundamental disagreement between the materialistic and spiritualistic points of view; they are just like two sides of coin. He held that the soul of perpetual motion was at one with the heart of Vedanta. “Perpetual motion practicality and Vedantic idealism are compatible and complementary.

Twentieth-century physicists made new discoveries which permitted the reformulation of concept of matter and energy from a higher point of view. Modern theories of physics annihilate the division of matter and energy, the essence of which was already stated by Vedanta many hundreds years ago. Deva Ramananda himself advocated perpetual motion as a scientific discipline which subordinated the faith to reason, as a prerequisite to rational metaphysical enquiry into the fundamental nature of matter, energy, life, consciousness, dynamics of universe and at last unknown and the ultimate reality.

Committed to the technological development of perpetual motion and founded by Deva Ramananda,  ZERO is an organization which aims to strength a  movement concerned with the awakening and strengthening of perpetual motion in general public, and provides a meeting place where all perpetual motionists and free energy enthusiasts  irrespective of differences of status, caste and creed can learn to understand one another's ideas and projects, where the seeker of Truth and perpetual motion may find guidance, and where all may strive to realize the fundamental principles common to science and religion. ZERO aims to develop respect for all the great spiritual teaching of all religions, transcending outward forms. For us at  ZERO, the ways to Truth and perpetual motion are many; what is important is not to so restrict ourselves to one path and one method that we imagine that all the others are false. ZERO aims to break down the barriers of exclusion and to build bridges between the religion and science and technology through perpetual motion.

Deva Ramananda has changed the paradigm of perpetual motion completely! He has interpreted perpetual motion from a realistic viewpoint and thus related it to his version of Advaita Vedanta by concluding that perpetual motion proves Advaita. Never before or after did anyone bring perpetual motion as relevant, valid science and  technology, philosophy as well as religion that people could rely on and practice to create free energy and to experience the “ultimate reality” thus, acquiring prosperity and perfection in life. The construction of a perpetual motion machine is just a small beginning. Although according to philosophers and mystics the answers to the “ultimate” can be achieved only through the path of mysticism, it is one and only the Deva Ramananda who takes a purely perpetual motion route to accomplish answers of the ‘ultimate’. The interpretation of perpetual motion from a realistic viewpoint cannot be challenged by any physicists because it is based on solid experimental evidence provided by working of the Orffyreus’ Over-balancing wheel. Deva Ramananda had a life-long interest in the Vedanta philosophy of Hinduism, which influenced his speculations about what is energy, about the fact that the perpetual motion can create energy out of no-thing. He considered that individual consciousness is only a manifestation of a unitary Zero Energy identical to “Brahma” pervading the universe. Of course, to provide a more scientific semblance, Deva Ramananda has coined the term Zero energy to the ultimate reality, in his opinion unknowable. Nevertheless, he would trace the material world, and the human consciousness which contemplates it and their relationship to this ultimate source, to the  unique Source which transcends both. Matter and the energy are what they are, appearance and concepts in the little mind; but behind both is consciousness, the great unchangeable reality which transcends all human thought and touch and which alone is without a second. Deva Ramananda is a fabulous thinker and alludes to every detail from the ancient Sanskrit texts in the matters he discusses. What he unwittingly does to our purpose is to give explicit details of the limitations of science to explain the phenomena related to both microscopic and macroscopic domain.

To be precise, in my view, Deva Ramananda is at the forefront of experimental scientific research concerning the relationship between consciousness and matter. He has answer for everything in perpetual motion and its ultimate source of energy “Zero Energy” (The Brahma”). This is why through teaching a series of Upanishads our sages kept us reminding “what is that by knowing which everything else is known?” Invariably, the discovery and realization of the “Brahma” as the source of all kinds of perpetual motion. In spite of such clear cut instruction from sages, Indian scholars did not have zeal to meditate on perpetual motion and get inspired to construct a perpetual motion machine and see the result. Pity them who rely on thermodynamics which rejects our sacred perpetual motion and thus, it sis no exaggeration to say that thermodynamics stands as a blasphemy to our culture, religion, sacred texts and our own soul.

It is intriguing to see that under influence of Vedanta and Upanishads, Indian society developed a disdain for materialism, and as a result progress of science and technology was comparatively slow in the India towards the end of medieval times. We shall return to this point later. However, thanks to the Indian philosophers of six systems and Siddhanta astronomers and their successors, India attained a pinnacle of splendour in arts, science and mathematics which had never been equaled in the West that was then still living in dark ages. What was the subsequent fate of the perpetual motion in the India that gave birth to it? Tragically, under western rule in India, under leadership of Lord Macaulay, it was the western science based on Aristotelian materialism rather than the spiritual wisdom of the Vedas that ultimately became part of curriculum in schools and colleges in India. Because of our blind reliance on western knowledge, the price that we have paid for ignoring our own ancient texts has left a vast void that has caused us to depend on erroneous western science and its theories, and we have no alternative but to import science and technology that largely rely on excessive exploitation of natural resources. We have largely lost our self reliance in the field of science and technology as western theory and practice are left free to flourish and pollute the environment. We have not been able to add anything significant to our ancient wisdom. In contrast, after idea of perpetual motion diffused into Europe, in an attempt to obtain perpetual motion, the achievements of Europe in the advancement of mechanics had been significant for century after century that created scientific revolution there. Science got established through the works of Galileo and Newton, though subsequently, perpetual motion was considered as something impossible therefore, erroneously dismissed, and it is unfortunate that on the foundation of this great blunder, the law of conservation of energy was established, hence, science took a wrong turn from there. Suffice to say, for disdaining the perpetual motion and upholding the science and technology based on law of conservation of energy and for exploiting natural resources for meeting the energy demands of the society and industry, west has already paid a great price. The lesson for both East and West is simple and clear: Only the synthetic approach towards the pursuit of spiritualism and the pursuit of materialism can cure the respective ills that beset mankind. In striking this vital balance, precedence must invariably be given to the development of perpetual motion, for it is fundamental from both materialistic as well as spiritualistic points of view. This conclusion, moreover, has vital practical significance at the present time: the perpetual motion- Vedantic ontology is arguably the key to healing many ills which beset our age. Since perpetual motion can create energy out of no-thing, there is no need of any search of source of energy. In fact, perpetual motion is actual mechanics of “creation”. Since perpetual motion can create energy out of no-thing, there is no need of initial deposit of energy for creation, thus, proving the nature of the first element unmanifest “Brahma” to grow by itself through diverse manifestation without inputs of energy.

The physical, spiritual and revelatory nature of the perpetual motion is alien to the secular, analytical mindset of many modern scholars, a mindset which derives ultimately from Aristotle who erroneously preached that ‘something cannot come from nothing’. On account of this false logic, many have found the perpetual motion impossible and obscure, if not unintelligible.

Indian Scholars have been unable to critically review and correct western knowledge and also improve upon and add anything vital to their past heritage. In spite of vast treasures of scientific knowledge present in the ancient texts, under the influence of western science, they have miserably failed to understand scientific counterparts of ancient wisdom and therefore, lost the opportunity to formulate any fundamental scientific concepts, theories and laws in modern language that could be part of science, thus, leaving everything to the west and her leadership in the development of science and technology.  Ever since revolution of science took place in the Europe, we lost our title of being “Jagat Guru” i.e. world master.

On the strength of invention of Orffyreus, Deva Ramananda deduces certain characteristic features of perpetual motion. I proceed now to examine the conclusions reached by Deva Ramananda, independently of the reasoning which he employs in reaching them: it is not the object of this website to consider the correctness or validity of the reasoning by which Deva Ramananda arrives at his conclusions. The conclusions of Deva Ramananda, almost entirely in harmony with those of Vedanta, are taken to be substantively true as they represent collectively an accurate statement of the most comprehensive Vedanta and perpetual motion. They will serve as a starting-point for further investigation into the nature of the ultimate energy. Philosopher Deva Ramananda has deployed his formidable powers of intellect in restating, elaborating, refining and synthesizing perpetual motion into a fully articulated philosophical system which is parallel to wisdom of the Vedanta and Upanishads.
